Located on Illinois Institute of Technology’s campus, the Institute of Gas Technology Building was designed by Mies van der Rohe, and originally part of a five building complex for the Institute of Gas Technology. This building is modernist in its expression of materials and proportions. It is currently utilized by the university for classrooms and is home to the College of Architecture’s Ph.D. program.
